1. Purpose

To honor exceptional educators both within Kusal Academy and across other institutions in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This initiative promotes teaching innovation, excellence, and community-building—aligning with Kusal Academy’s mission to nurture outstanding educators.

2. Eligibility

• Internal (Kusal Academy Teachers): Full-time or part-time teachers (minimum 6 months of service).
• External (Other Institutions): Teachers and faculty from schools, colleges, and coaching institutes, including online educators.
• Special Category – Young Teachers: Applicants below 35 years of age.
• Lifetime Achievement: Reserved for those with 20+ years of impactful service.

4. Nomination Structure & Process

• A two-tiered structure of award categories (internal vs. external), including young and experienced segments.
• Clear category names with options like “Best Young Faculty”, “Innovative Teacher”, and “Societal Impact” (adapted as “Commitment & Dedication”).
• Use of a standardized nomination form with sections: Personal Details, Institutional Role, Evidence of Impact, Feedback, and Supporting Documents.

5. Selection Criteria

• Excellence in Teaching – clarity, passion, effectiveness.
• Innovation & Creativity – use of technology, novel pedagogical methods.
• Outcomes & Progress – measurable student results, project outcomes.
• Commitment & Broader Impact – mentoring, contributions beyond the classroom, like CSR or community efforts.
• Feedback – input from students, peers, and parents.
• Research/Scholarly Engagement – for faculty who engage in educational research or content development (inspired by “Best Researcher” and “IPR Holder” categories of Knowledge Research Academy).

6. Evaluation Process

1. Nomination Intake via Online Form
2. Initial Screening for completeness and eligibility
3. Evaluation by a multi-member Awards Committee (academic leadership + external experts + student rep)
4. Final Jury Review to select winners per category

Nomination fee applicable once your profile is selected for the Award.
